Obituary of Joanne Bohme

Joanne Bohme, age 59, of West Hempstead, New York, passed away on November 8, 2023.

Joanne was a long-time resident of West Hempstead.  Joanne is survived by her brother Thomas, sister-in-law Lisa, her nephew Nicholas and his wife Lauren, her niece Victoria and her husband Gary.  Her great niece and nephews, Thea, Frankie and Callen.  Her brother Robert and his wife Diane.  They were the light of her life.  She loved to spend time with them all. Joanne was loved by all who spent time with her.

Visitation will be held on November 12, 2023, 2-4pm and 7-9pm at Park Funeral Chapels at 2175 Jericho Turnpike, New Hyde Park, NY 11040. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on November 13, 2023, at 10am at St Thomas the Apostle Roman Catholic Church, 24 Westminster Road, West Hempstead, NY 11552. The Rite of Committal will follow at St. John’s Cemetery, 80-01 Metropolitan Ave, Queens, NY 11379.

In honor of Joanne's memory and in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Diabetes Association.
