Leonarda Cibelli affectionately known as Lee, passed into eternal life on December 28, 2024. Born to parents, Giovanna and Carmelo Frosina on October 15, 1926 in Brooklyn NY.

When not working, Lee attended weekly Sunday mass at either Our Lady of Victory or St Hedwig in NHP.
The heart of lees life was her loving family. Lee loved spending time with her children and, grandchildren. Having traveled to Mattituck, Honolulu, Hawaii and Jupiter, Fl multiple times to visit them. She also had the opportunity to travel to Europe, including Italy.
Lee enjoyed many things about life, including her favorite tv show, Mash. While, she enjoyed listening to her beloved Sunday morning, “Italian Program” on the radio. Lee was an excellent cook, but never was one to boast.
Lee is preceded in death by her loving husband Nicholas, and her beloved son Joseph. Lee is survived by her children; Annette (Tom), Joan (Paul), and Nicholas. Her grandchildren Carolyn, Nancy (Derrick), Matthew, Kenneth (Amanda), Capri, and Nicholas; as well as, her great grandchildren Joseph Paul, Andrew and Lauren. To me, she was grandma and to my kids great grandma! I want to “thank you” grandma for all the wonderful memories my sister and I had with you! Thank you for sharing all your traditions with us and teaching us what it means to be an Italian American growing up in New York. Thank you for loving us unconditionally and teaching us the importance of our catholic faith. We were the lucky ones to have such a wonderful grandmother to share our lives with. My children loved visiting you and they always brought a smile to your face and theirs, as well. We will cherish all the great memories we had together. You will live on in our thoughts and prayers. Rest in eternal peace grandma!
Love you always!
Nancy and family
