My father in law lived with us the last few years of his life. He was a special man, kind and full of love, like his niece Betty.
She would visit him every day, sharing lunch and conversation with him. It was the highlight of his day. She did this out of love because that is who she was. Betty was a special person, full of goodness. She was loved by many and we will miss her every day.

It is with sadness that I extend my deepest condolences to the family and love ones of Betty. I join in affirming her selfless and kind personality that is truly winsome to those whom she has shared her life with. The memories we have created together will forever etched in my heart. Will always remember the things we laugh about, how she showed such concern when my dad was sick, and how she shared some childhood memories with me.
Life is like a moving train, heading towards a destination…it makes many stops to pick up and let off travelers. We get on when we’re born and leave when we expired. What makes it worthwhile is the in-between. Betty has left a beautiful legacy behind her that everyone can take something from.
Revelation 21:4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. This is the blessed hope of the believers in Christ.

To All Our Kissin’ Cousins:
There are no words to adequately express the grief and deep sadness we feel for ALL of you in losing Betty.
But we want you all to revel in knowing that YOU were ALL fortunate enough to call Betty: your Loving Wife;
your Adored Mom; your Doting Grandmother and
Great Grandmother; and your Devoted Sister. Betty exuded so many beautiful qualities and characteristics from which we all benefited. Betty’s deep and unwavering Faith was an inspiration to each of us and it was her prayers, devotions, and rituals that eased any of the pain we each experienced in our own lives. Your Mother’s passionate devotion to her family was an example for each of us to emulate. In ALL of our lifetimes, our lives will NEVER again be touched by such an incredible woman and human being.
Betty exemplified her humble life with dignity, grace, humility, and humanity. The legacy she has left all of us is to remember the simple way Betty lived her life: devout reverence to God, placing family first, showing kindness, concern, compassion, and empathy to all and always reaching out to touch another’s life.
This LIFE, this EARTH, has lost an amazing woman and may we all learn and live by all the examples Betty has so selflessly shown us. We are confident that Betty is thrilled to be welcomed into Heaven by God’s outstretched arms, and may Betty find joy in once again embracing her Mom, Tootsie; her Dad, Andy; and being re-united with her Grandsons, Brennan and Thomas; and her favorite
Uncle Sonny and Aunt Hazel.
Betty you will be deeply missed but we shall honour you by living our lives by the legacy of a rich, full life you so lovingly set for us. And we promise to continue to make YOUR famous and fabulous Rice Balls at Thanksgiving!!!
Betty may you now live fervently deep within each of our hearts where we beseech you to watch over each of us and help guide or lives and our futures. Many thanks for all the good times shared and all the memories made that we will all cherish and treasure forever………..until we meet again,
