My grandmother was a kind, loving, caring grandmother and mother. She always tried to keep peace, unity and share love in our family especially with her cooking. She loved to cook and always inviting everyone she knows to eat on Sundays. Some of my fondest memories of Ma was sitting on her lap while she would teach me my school work. She would make the best aloo pie, corn beef pies and casscadoo and rice on a Saturday. Ma when your soul goes to heaven, I know you will be reunited with your loved ones who would have passed on. I know you are in a better place now. May your soul rest in peace, you will always be missed by Me, Michelle, Cassidy and Emilio

I will never forget the birthday calls, checking on me while I was pregnant on a weekly basis to make sure I was eating properly. My favorite memory is coming home for work. You always timed my train. By the time I would walk to the house, the door would be open and you always greeted me with “you reach safe. How was your day, how was the train ride”. To our loving mother, Ma, you was so humble, generous and caring that I know you are in heaven presently. We are so thankful for all the sacrifices you made in our upbringing. You would stand in the kitchen all day and make sure everyone have a proper meal, even strangers. Being married 1953, having 8 children in 10 years and helping our father to build a huge empire by 1973, you have to be an exceptionally remarkable woman.
