My first appointment with Dr.Kouzougian was the result of a broken front tooth. In my usual haste, I had grabbed a forkful of food standing up, and ate so fast that I heard a crack! I was shocked at what I had done to my perfect tooth.
I had long ago lost touch with my previous dentist. My husband, Ivan, immediately sent me to Dr. Kouzougian. Once he did his magic, I was so happy, I never went to another dentist. I was Dr.K's patient for the past 23 years. I will miss Dr.K, as I usually called him.
Dr. K was a great conversationalist, and we would calmly and politely discuss a variety of issues. We discussed academic, current events, social issues, but mostly diet, nutrition, and exercise, my favorite topic. I was never bored. Sometimes I suspected that he was trying to distract me from some lengthy procedure. I tell my friends about the day I kept falling asleep during a root canal! That's just how relaxed I wouldfeel under his care.
I dread having to start all over again, searching for a dentist that could have Dr. K's special qualities, on top of his excellent professional skills .There is no replacement for Dr.K. I will miss him greatly.

We were so saddened to learn of Dr. K's passing last night. He was our friend and dentist for almost 30 years. We will miss his great sense of humor and his positive attitude about life. He always tried his best to make us feel calm in the dentist's chair. He was a great person and dentist! May you rest in peace Dr. K. You are all in our thoughts and prayers. I was introduced to Dr. K over 30 years ago by the Doronis and though there were times I was forced to go to a different dentist I always came back to him. He started a crown for me a few months ago and when I called to set my next appointment I found out what happened. I was devastated and I will miss him as a dentist and a friend. He was kind and brilliant and entertaining! He will not be forgotten anytime soon. Rest well Dr. Ed! See you on the other side…Love from Laura Reyes
