Obituary of K. K. Ponnappan

Mr. K.K. Ponnappan was born on February 23, 1942 in Koothattukulam located in Kerala, India, the youngest child of his parents. After he completed his education, Ponnappan moved to Mumbai and started his professional career in the Indian Railways until he came to the United States as a student in 1972. After his studies, he served as Controller for various companies until he retired from Eagle Control Corp. in Long Island. Post-retirement, Ponnappan enjoyed traveling with his wife and lived in Albertson, Long Island. Ponnappan is survived by his wife Ramani; Sandeep (son): Sanjeev (son); Sandya (daughter): Nadia (daughter-in-law): Mani (daughter-in-law); Rudis (son-in-law) and six grandchildren who loved him dearly Neela, Karina, Raja, Asher, Ariyana & Leila. In New York, He was actively involved in various social activities in the Malayali community. Ponnappan will remain in the hearts of his family and friends and will be greatly missed by all those who knew him.
