Obituary of Robin Joy Pustarfi

Robin Pustarfi 1966-2022 Robin Pustarfi, 55, of New Hyde Park, passed away peacefully on Monday July 18, 2022, after an ongoing battle with metastatic breast cancer. Robin was born in New York on December 11, 1966 the daughter of Sandra Pustarfi and the late Robert Pustarfi. Robin is survived by her son Justin Hughes, daughter Jackie Viens, daughter Jenna Morillo and husband John, daughter Emily Hughes, brother Robert Pustarfi and wife Mary Beth Pustarfi, sister Susan Fontanes, and her grandsons Anthony, Rylan, and Levi. Robin grew up in Garden City Park, New York. She graduated from New Hyde Park Memorial High School and went on to attend Allen School of Health Sciences. She followed her calling to then work in the medical field. She loved life and lived it well. Her passions included animal rescue, laying on the beach or by the pool taking in the sun with a margarita and crocheting. She found comfort in her dog Molly and adored spending time with her grandchildren. Her fighting spirit was an inspiration and motivation to many. A memorial service celebrating her life will take place on Saturday, July 23rd from 5-9 PM at Park Funeral Chapels, 2175 Jericho Turnpike, City Park, NY 11040.
