Dr. David M Chiang met Sheena Siu-Chiang in 1995 at Saint Vincent’s Hospital and five years later they became husband and wife. Dr. Chiang was a loving husband to Sheena and an amazing father to Isabelle, Ivan and Irina. He set a great example and was always supportive of each one of his children. Throughout his life, he created everlasting memories that will stay with his family forever. He taught them life lessons, shared his love for music and was there for their ups and downs. He never failed to light up the room with his witty comments and always had a smile on his face. He reminded them every day that life had so much to offer and to experience as much as they could in their own lifetime.
Dr. Chiang was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer in March of 2016. He cared deeply about others, whether in work or in life. During these six years, he received countless miracles, peace, joy and healing from the Lord. He established a close relationship with God and was always enthusiastic about spreading the gospel. He has set an example of faith for all those that knew him. Although his battle with cancer was difficult, he never lost his faith and firmly trusted in God. He always said “The Lord’s grace is sufficient for me.”
