Obituary of Michael James Florio

Florio, Michael James born on February 24, 1954 passed away with his family by his side June 23, 2021. Michael was born in Brooklyn to Barbara (deceased) and Michael Florio. He was a devoted family man who was the patriarch of his family. He was the adored and cherished husband of Kathleen, loving father to Christian (Nicole), Michael (Jessica), Theresa Casson (Jon), stepfather to Lawrence Kunkel (Jeannie), Nancy Reilly (Michael), Laura Williams (Darrell), and Erin Kunkel. He was just “The Best” Grandpa, Nonno, and Honey Mike to Darrah, Sydney, Ryan, Michael, London, Emmanuel, Joseph, and Mia. He is also survived by his two sisters, brother, and many nieces and nephews. His loss as well as his tremendous, caring heart will forever be with us. He truly was a man that stood out from the rest!
