I'm so sorry to hear of these tragic news.I just found out today through a friend and former roomate of this.Jordan was such a great person.He always had people laughing.I only knew him for 3 years but I was immediately drawn to his amazing personality and smile.The times we spent at college were all positive ones.He was a beautiful person inside and out. My nephew Jordan I miss you so much and think of you everyday. Loosing you so suddenly was devastating and still hard to believe. I miss your caring personality and most of all your sense of humor you were without a doubt the funniest man I knew it came so natural and was so spontaneous. Jordan.......what can I say about Jordan. I met you as a young kid when you were working across the street at family bagels when your family owned it. Then your older brother Danny came to live with us here and regardless of anything that happened, my family has nothing but wonderful things to say about Danny, Jordan and the Scaccia Family. So like I said....I met Jordo and he took me under his wing. We played on the same pool team(co-captains) until we both stopped showing up lol. But you were always there for me. Whenever I need advice about anything from girls to what to have for lunch, I always enjoyed your opinions and views on the world. Especially loved arguing with you over the Mets and Yanks. When I received the news of your passing at first I didn’t want to believe that it was true. I had just seen you not too long ago in the grocery store. Jordo I am gonna miss you brother. You were a great human being with one of the kindest hearts I have ever met. I will miss our conversations when we see each other after two months and we try to catch up on how we are doing. Save me a spot up there so when I get there we can catch up again. I got a lot to tell you man. You would be proud of me Jordo. I’ll miss you, I love you brother and may you rest in paradise with no more pain or misery. I hope you are at peace at last. You will truly be missed by anyone you have come into contact with. I can not explain what you meant to me. My heart has been ripped out and stepped on. You will forever be the brightest part of my life and a light in the darkness. I wish to offer my very sincere condolences to the entire Scaccia family on the passing of Jordan. As you know, Jordan was one of the original members of the very first Lasell College mens soccer teams where made his mark as an outstanding goalkeeper. His outgoing personality and dedication to the program established him as one of our most unique and influential players and team member. I was pleased to have been able to maintain a lasting relationship with him after graduation and I enjoyed jousting with him relative to Boston and NY sports teams! I will remember him as a straight forward and honest human being with a big heart.
I have coached for over 35 years and have had the honor to touch the lives of many young student-athletes and there have been those whose lives touched mine; Jordan was one of those people who did and shall forever touch my heart and soul. He will be missed, but never, ever forgotten.
