My cherished memories are when I was preparing to make my Confirmation and asked Cousin Rose to be my Godmother. She took me under her wing and along with her beloved husband Nick whom I adored, took me to an Ice Cream Parlor. It was a fantastic treat and memory I will never forget.
I began to visit her often and just hang out.
She helped me realize the importance of cleanliness and being responsible for my personal hygiene. I remember clearly how she gently but firmly pointed out the black streaks on my arms, indicating they needed to be washed, and the importance of brushing my teeth regularly.
Thank you Padina (Godmother). Rest in God's Peace.
