Tante Eva,
I will always remember you as a Strong Woman with a Big Heart full of Love. My mom ''Cébé'' would testify if she were still alive.
May the Peace of the Lord, Jesus Christ, be with each member of your family and friends...
''For none of us lives for ourselves alone,
and none of us dies for ourselves alone.
If we live, we live for the Lord;
and if we die, we die for the Lord.
So, whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord.
For this very reason, Christ died and returned to life
so that he might be the Lord of both the dead and the living''.
(Romans 14:7-9)
With love,
Marie

I did not know your grandmother but if you are any measure of who she was and what she believed in then I know that her presence is still here among us... is evident in your life... and will continue to guide you in this journey called life. Her grit and courage is evident in the way you walk through life; her courage has made you courageous and the way she loved and encouraged is ever present in the lives you impact every single day. You have weathered many storms- we all will- and one day we will all stand in your shoes. Please know that I love you dearly my sister; knew we would be sisters literally from the start and will be your ROCK in Texas! Smooches!!:)

One of the most selfless human being , I have ever encountered. Her legacy is not of material nature. It is Family . Knowing the meaning of what family is. Personally, she is my mother/grandmother. I credit her for the woman/ mother/ sister/auntie I am today. I invested to better myself, as she saw in me because I wanted to make her proud. She has always embraced me, before judging me. And perhaps her character comes around every 100 years , and I am lucky enough to say she is my family’s blessing and timeless treasure. Granie Cherie, I will miss you. I will miss our talks. I find comfort in knowing you will be my guardian angel.
