Where do I start. A great women and family friend has passed .Although I am extremely saddened and my heart and soul goes out to both the Elia and Nuzzi family I choose to celebrate this womens life.
I have known this great lady for most of my childhood and adult life. It has truely been a privledge and honor to call her family. Having said that she was so much more. Through all of the years of growing up as a child and playing baseball with her beloved son John she became a fabric in my life. Seeing her sitting next to my Mom in the baseball stands was a Summer ritual.Our families traveling together all summer long playing in all of those All-Star games were some of the best times in all of our lifes.Those times are etched in my memory forever and like this great lady will never be forgotten.
A better baseball mind I have never known.She knew the game so well and wore her passion for the game on the brim of her baseball cap.
We shared so many memories together some happy and some sad but one thing I can tell you is my life would not have been complete without this great women being a big part of it.
