My thoughts and prayers are with the entire Olsen family. Many of my early teens were spent over at Donald's house. Gloria and I would hang out with Peggy . Donald was our little buddy. He was always smiling and had a nice thing to say. Donald was our temporary gift. We are all so fortunate to have had him in our lives!!God bless.

Donald was a constant in my childhood and adolescence, a "kid from the block", like the big brother I didn't have (thank you Meghan for sharing him with me!).
Wherever he was going and whatever he was getting up to - you always wanted to go too. Partly because you knew it was definitely going to be fun - and partly because you felt a certain responsibility to make sure it didn't get our of hand. That's the Donald I remember.
Heartfelt condolences to his family, and to Kathy, who I never had a chance to meet - but who clearly brought him much happiness. When someone dies, and there is an outpouring of love for them - sometimes people say, "it's a shame that this is all happening now and not while he was alive to enjoy it". I don't think that's true here. Donald knew how loved he was and how much he meant to people. It was far too short -but a life well lived.
