Anne Marie was a very good high school friend of mine. I was deeply saddened to see this page and learn of her passing. I extend my condolences to her loved ones who have suffered a tremendous loss. May God’s love strengthen and console you.
Anne Marie was a very special person. I was sad that we lost touch after high school, but I treasure the good times we shared together. Those memories will never be forgotten. Anne Marie is now among God’s angels. “Eternal
rest grant onto her soul O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. May she rest in peace. Amen.”

I have just learned about the passing of Anne Marie Grlic in which I knew her as Anne Marie Sokolovic. I grew up with Anne Marie as childhood friends on 32nd Street (Astoria) along with her siblings. Even though we went down different roads and have lost touch you never forget your childhood friend. I remember the snowball fights and playing street games. Anne Marie you were taken too young but want you know you will be in my and my families prayers. You were a beautiful person inside and out and will never be forgotten. May God Always Hold You In The Palms of His Hands. Rest In Peace..

Dear Nino, Thomas, Mary, Sokolovic and Grlic Families,
Anne Marie and I shared many of life's experiences together, both wonderful and difficult ones, over the years. Although we did not share the last leg of her journey together, there will always be a special place in my heart for Anne Marie. Anne Mare is home in God's care, and both she and all of you are in my family's thoughts and prayers. We extend our most heartfelt sympathy. We will miss her very much, however, her gentle spirit will always be with us.
Love, Karen, Mike and Kathryn

I never called you "Aunt Anne Marie" because were so close in age. However, I am fortunate enough to say that is because we were more like best friends growing up together in our teenage years. I will never forget the summers together, the Village Beach, Wildwood, walking around the block, sitting out near the mailbox waiting for Dana to pass by, bike riding, tennis with Pete, 16 and BOP magazines, fortunes, and our love for MATT DILLON. I can go on and on. You are in a happy place, and I know you will always be around me in spirit. You are an angel with God now. You were the best AUNT anyone could ever ask for. I will MISS You and I LOVE YOU!!!
