Ramonita was a dear friend of my parents, Valentin and Aida. Her family and my family shared many memories together. Our parents were an example of the many latinos, who arrived in NYC in the 50s and worked hard, perservered, and gave us a rich legacy. I can always remember Ramonita cooking and being chistosa. She loved to dress well. Her life was her family, particularly her 2 sons, Carlos and Junito.
Heaven has gained another angel.
My warmest embrace and condolences to Carlito and Junito and their families.
